Bill Gates thinks Microsoft’s deal with TikTok is critical. Among other things, Microsoft has no experience with social media.
Bill Gates describes Microsoft’s agreement to take over TikTok as a ‘poisoned cup’.
Microsoft has announced that it will try to acquire TikTok businesses in North America, Australia and New Zealand, writes The Verge.
According to The Verge, however, it is unclear what will come to such an agreement in the end.
On the one hand, Gates welcomes Facebook to have more competition, on the other hand it is “pretty weird” when Donald Trump helps to eliminate the sole competition.
The announcement of the deal surprises not only Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, because: Microsoft has so far stayed out of the world of social media.
According to him, it would be ‘not an easy game’ for Microsoft, because TikTok is currently the fastest growing social network in the world.
