Apple has asked suppliers to build at least 75 million iPhone 5Gs by the end of this year, along with new Watch models, a new iPad Air and a smaller HomePod, Bloomberg News reported.
The company expects shipments of these next-generation iPhones to reach up to 80 million units by 2020, the report said, citing people familiar with the matter, writes Reuters.
Apple is also preparing to launch a new iPad Air with a screen similar to the iPad Pro, two newer versions of the Apple Watch and its headphones, according to the same report.
Apple is expected to unveil the phones and Apple Watch Series 6 at its annual event expected to be held in September.
